Haplogroup chart changes

An early Christmas present yesterday, two long awaited BigY results, one rather anxiously as we hoped that there was enough sample.

The impacted branches and surname projects are in the Recent changes list, mainly being the families of James SINTON of Abbotrule / Southdean, Roxburghshire (a second BigY result to refine his branch of the yDNA tree - see the SintonDNA project diary for specific links/info), and Joseph ROWE of Bere Ferrers, Devon (our first result for this branch, another to come).

As a result, the DNASurnames Haplogroup section has been republished, but not, as yet, the Lineages and analysis portion.
An earlier update for another of the I1 FAIRBAIRNs is included as well, but having only just finished yFull processing not yet been further analysed.

Republished

DNASurnames has been refreshed.

Main changes:
- any place names mentioned in a person's page should now have a dinky little icon after the place to take you to either Google Maps (all places) or OpenStreetView (those with lat/long only).
How accurate such links may be is open to exploration!

- a few additions to/refinements to placings on the Haplogroup Trees as people get results back from SNP or  BigY testing, including subsequent YFull analysis

- another RUNCIMAN BigY result in (exact match to our first result, sharing 245 novel variants with his GD4 Y-STR match). One day the I-Z60* section will be analyzed further and have sub branches.

- ROWE pages revamped a tad to remove data more aptly viewed (and more easily updated) on the Summary WorldFamilyNetwork pages and to remove analyses done back in 2007/8 that are no longer relevant

- HENDERSON FamilyFinder data updated to include (some of) the results from the known descendants of Archibald & Margaret (McEWAN) HENDERSON using the wonderful new tool on GEDMatch.com - Shared Segment Traceability *.
If you haven't yet uploaded your atDNA raw data file(s) to GEDMatch.com, please consider doing so. It's a great site.

9th: Wanted! Fairbairns and other updates

I think I've finished tidying up all missing links, and have added all known researchers and patriarchs for all projects apart from ROWE.
For the ROWE project I have begun by adding the Devon lineage of two of the dna participants (my lot funnily enough ).
The FAIRBAIRN Wanted! page has had a couple more lineages links added in, more to come.
Remember that FamilyTree DNA are offering new test discounts until the end of December for kits ordered via a surname project.
Check out the respective project, and order via the Join this project link on the appropriate WorldFamlies site, or at Family Tree DNA - but make sure the order is via a surname project, or the discounts don't apply.
